More about Michele

MicheleTooWelcome to Crochet by Michele.

I am the owner and head designer for Midwest Crochet and  I LOVE Crochet. It is my joy and sometimes, my pain in the butt. I have been crocheting since I was a child and I am primarily self taught.

I left my production career after 20 years to chase my crochet dreams.

Often times, when I come up with new designs or am working on a project, people will ask me about it. So I wanted to start this blog to talk about crochet, stitches, designs, color combos, patterns… you name it. ALL THINGS CROCHET!

Hopefully we can connect through our love for crochet. If you are new to the world of crochet, you can discover new ideas and inspirations.
